The San Mateo Area Chamber of Commerce is a strong member driven organization to promote, enhance and be an advocate for business. Having built a solid networking base for our members we now can focus on expanding our very successful "Shop San Mateo" program to "Live Work Shop San Mateo!" Working closely with the City of San Mateo we will create initiatives to recruit and retain business in San Mateo.

The other significant change for the Chamber is organizing our programs and The Chamber is diligent about creating an enviroment for business to prosper while preserving our quality of life. This happens in the following ways:

	Economic Opportunities: The Chamber enhances and leverages the talents and resources of its members to improve economic opportunities for all.
